Ornithology In Maasai Mara National Reserve

Our Lenses work, During our morning drive these are the birds we encountered;
First of our bird is the national bird of Kenya. Getting uncovered in the Meta plains with its beautiful colors.
The name of the Bird is Lilac Breasted Roller.

Our Second Avian is the well known bird of its kind, With the facts showing that it build the biggest nest of all african birds and unoccupied nest host the Grey Kestrel bird which belongs to one of the parasitic birds. its name is derived from the shape of its heads that look like a Hammer. The name is Hamerkop (Scopus Umbretta).

Third Bird is the Sooty Chat a bird that inhabit the Anthills in the Maasai Mara Savanah Grassland mostly near the Ngama Hills or Olkeju Rongai Stream.
