Rock- Reach out for Compasion in Kibera

16/01/2016: Workshop for UI/Ux School Students in Rock- Is program that help kids in High school education, For us from Tunapanda Institute in Kibera, We need to create a value to them, So to be more productive in the society.

We teaches and interacted with them as they try to prototype the App user  interface we show them. They all enjoyed and gave us positive feedback as we concluded the session.

We all really appreciated the closing comments from Mr. Dan who is the founder of the program in Kibera since 13 years ago.

Community new year 2016 reunion celebration.

Maasai Mara Ololchurra villages area members in Mara Simba lodge area. Came together to celebration new year 2016. I got a chance to speak to the community about Wildlife conservation and important of educating children to become community leaders in the society at large.

We talk more about giving back to the community after someone has gone to school and became knowledgeable and productive to the society. Youth join together and form developing groups like www.maasilverresearch.wordpress.com to promote community projects and many others in the large Greater Mara Ecosystem.

Maasai are conservationists

The Maasai people stood against slavery and lived alongside most wild animals with an aversion to eating game and birds. Maasai land now has East Africa's finest game areas. Maasai society never condoned traffic of human beings, and outsiders looking for people to enslave avoided the Maasai.

Essentially there are twelve geographic sectors of the tribe, each one having its own customs, appearance, leadership and dialects. These subdivisions are known as the Keekonyokie, Damat, Purko, Wuasinkishu, Siria, Laitayiok, Loitai, Kisonko, Matapato, Dalalekutuk, Loodokolani and Kaputiei.
